Product description

The LVT(A)-1 Amtrack (Landing Vehicle, Tracked (Armored) 1), also known as the "Amtrac", was an armored amphibious tractor used by the United States Armed Forces during World War II. The LVT(A)-1 was a direct development of the original unarmored LVTs and was specifically designed for assault operations that required fire support for landing troops. It combined the ability to transport troops and materiel over water with improved armor and armament to provide fire cover during the landing phase.

Areas of Operation: The LVT(A)-1 was deployed primarily in the Pacific Theater to assist in the numerous amphibious assaults on Japanese-occupied islands. His ability to operate directly from ship to beach and beyond made him a key element in overcoming strong Japanese coastal defenses.

For which country: United States

Possible uses in tabletop games:

  • Bolt Action: The LVT(A)-1 can be used in scenarios depicting amphibious landings in the Pacific to bring troops directly into combat and provide fire support.
  • Flames of War: Ideal for representing the U.S. Marines and their operations in the Pacific, the LVT(A)-1 offers a unique combination of mobility and firepower.
  • Chain of Command: An interesting option for special missions involving amphibious assaults and overcoming beach defenses.

              Product features

              3D SLA printing
              In gray to paint yourself
              Scale: 1:56 / 28mm

The miniatures come to you unpainted and some of them have to be assembled yourself - a little superglue can work wonders here! Sometimes there may be small residues or slight damage caused by the support structures, but unfortunately these cannot always be completely avoided. But don't worry, this won't affect the quality of your model.

However, it should be noted that due to the 3D SLA printing process, slight distortions (up to 1mm) may occur on larger parts. However, these small imperfections are easily repaired with modeling putty (Green Stuff).

It's just a small part of the process that gives your set a unique character. Have fun painting and assembling!

Even though the figures are great to play with, it is important to remember that they are not suitable for small children. There is a risk that small parts could break off. Miniatures should not be viewed as toys.
